Danish Ali Khan is a distinguished violinist from the renowned Ustad Bundu Khan tradition. Born in Delhi into a family of musicians, he was privileged to learn from his grandfather, the celebrated Sursagar and Sarangi virtuoso, Ustad Mohammad Ali Khan, a disciple of the legendary Bundu Khan Sahab. Danish also received violin training from his uncle, Ustad Aleem Khan, and is currently under the guidance of Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, the head of Delhi Gharana. A master of the Delhi Gharana style, Danish excels in both Gayaki Ang and Tantrakari, showcasing immaculate bowing and fingering techniques. His expertise includes the fine rendition of Swaras, various Gamaks, Sapaat taans, and layakari. Equally proficient in Thumri performances, Danish Ali Khan continues to uphold and enrich the legacy of Indian Classical music on the global stage.
