Ever thought of using an AI music generator to create music for a world-class event?
Well, that’s exactly what happened at the Google I/O Connect conference in Bangalore on July 17th, 2024. Beatoven.ai powered the music for the conference attended by 1800 developers. Probably the first time in the world that an event of this scale was powered by AI generated music.
Here’s the backstory of how it all happened.
When Google’s India team approached us to create music for the event, there were two different types of requirements:
AI Music for the event
For the first requirement, Google India team shared brief details about the event, its theme, and background. It was a challenge for us to create music that matched the event’s vibe. We combined Beatoven.ai’s algorithm with the Gemini LLM to generate the following background track for the I/O Connect event.

AI music for keynote speakers
The second requirement was to create music for the keynote speakers. This music would be played when speakers take the stage. This was even more critical as Google India team shared personalized briefs based on the speakers’ individual tastes and preferences. But thanks to the magical combination of Beatoven.ai and Gemini, we created apt background tunes for the keynote speakers.
